West Haven, UT ? Earliss ?Bud? Rendell Draper, 77, died Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Peach Tree Assisted Living in West Haven, UT. He was born February 19, 1930 to Rendell Kemp and Roselin Allred Draper in Moroni, UT. He graduated from Bear River High School in 1948 where he was active in the swim team and shared his deep bass voice in the A cappella choir. He also attended Weber State and Fresno Community College. He has lived in Moroni, Garland, Fielding, UT; Fresno, CA for 30 years and West Haven, UT since 2002. He married Joyce Colton July 5, 1950 in Malad, ID. She died July 20, 2002. He then married Clara Talbot November 13, 2004 in Layton, UT. She died November 28, 2004.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army 7th Infantry Division. ?Bud? enjoyed airplanes, flying, building and collecting models, playing the harmonica and guitar.
Surviving are his children Annette Rasley, Memphis, TN; Tracy Yoakum, Fresno, CA; sisters: Nedra Covey, South Ogden and Sherrel David Webber, Ogden; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wives; son, Bret Draper; sisters: LaDean Hodge and Connie Jensen.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT. Friends and family may call Friday only from 9:45?10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment at Fielding Cemetery.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the Peachtree Assisted Living staff and to his sisters for their devotion and loving care the last five years.
