Doyle Thomas West - 83. Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away May 19, 2015 surrounded by family and friends in Hayward,CA. He was a California resident for 52 years. He was born and raised in Smithfield,UT to Preston and E.Genevieve West. He was the youngest of 6 children, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He attended No. Cache High School, Utah State & BYU. He was a choral music teacher for over 38 years teaching in Tooele, UT and San Lorenzo, CA. He directed musical performances for LDS church and taught private voice for 50 years. He served in the Oakland LDS temple and church. He is survived by his wife Ardyth and children, MaryLynne Pope, Barbara Livacich, David West, Roger West, Paul West and spouces. His 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in CA, May 27, 2015.Graveside services at Smithfield City Cemetery at 1:00 pm, Wed, June 3, 2015. Smithfield, UT.
