Doyle Stanley Stark

Oakley, Idaho – Stanley Stark returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father June 22, 2008, due to health complications. Stanley was born in Bothwell, Utah, June 26, 1934 to George Clifford and Margaret Glenn Ellis Stark.
He married the sweetheart of his life, Jean Parker, July 9, 1954, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with four children: Gary, Wade, Dixie and James Stillborn. They began their married life in Bothwell, Utah, also resided in Lynn, Thatcher, Bothwell, and have spent the last 25 years in Oakley, Idaho.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as a High Priest. Dad was always helping others, giving of himself anytime to anyone in need and was always good for a joke or a good story. He was a refined Horseman and enjoyed helping ranchers with herding and branding cattle. In his spare time, he enjoyed being with his grandkids teaching them to shoot the BB gun, ride horses, and tie knots.
Stanley is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Jean, his three children, Gary Stark Caldwell, Idaho, Wade Janet Stark of Bothwell, and Dixie Bruce Higley of Plain City, Utah; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents and one son.
A viewing will be held Friday, June 27, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, also Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 9:30-11:45 a.m. at the Oakley LDS Chapel, 355 North Center Ave., Oakley, Idaho. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will be held in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery, following the funeral services.
The family suggest donations be made to the LDS Missionary Fund or the LDS Perpetual Education Fund.
