Dorothy Jane Roberts Elliott Heaton Dorothy Jane Roberts Elliott Heaton returned to her Heavenly Father January 21, 2002 at the Bear River Valley Care Center of causes incident to Alzheimer?s disease. Dorothy was born March 22, 1917 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to John Roberts and Bessie Lane Roberts who passed away when Dorothy was five years old. A new mother, Alice Augusta Rufener Knight Roberts, came into her life a few years later and Dorothy became part of a ?yours, mine & ours? family of eight children. Dorothy was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings but most of all, she enjoyed her time as a worker in the Logan Temple. Dorothy married Charles Alonzo Elliott on December 24, 1936 in Frontier, Wyoming. They were sealed for time and all eternity on April 10, 1947 in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death on June17, 1963. In March 1964, she married O. Darral Heaton in Logan, Utah. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1983. She is survived by a daughter Alice Bill Chapman of Tremonton and St. George and by two sons Kenneth Vickie Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Richard Annette Elliott of Magna, Utah and a daughter in law, Janeen Elliott of Mesquite, Nevada. Eleven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren also survive her as well as two brothers, Kenneth Sharon Roberts of Grace, Idaho and Glen Dorie Roberts of Jackson, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles John Elliott, a grandson, Jackie Lavern Chapman, her sister Selina Bill Marchione, and three brothers, Jack Francis Roberts; Frank Dorothy Knight and Robert Virginia Knight. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Bear River Valley Care Center for the wonderful care of their mother. Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 24, 2003 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Alzheimer?s Association.
