Garland, UT – Donald Elvin Sanderson, 72, passed away at his home Saturday, November 15, 2008. He was born May 2, 1936 in Fremont NE to Robert D. and Elga R. Roman Sanderson. He married Marianne Everly. They later divorced. He married Darlene Dragon August 4, 1989 in Wahoo, Nebraska.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed wood working, was an avid gun collector and Husker fan and loved to go target shooting. He served his country by enlisting in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife, his daughters: Patti Rich Holley, Omaha, NE and Chrissy Brad Butler, Holdrege, NE; four grandchildren; two sisters: Doris Ann Richard Stewart, Fremont, NE and Phyllis Joe Osthoff, Westor, NE; five step-children: Donald Karen Push, Douglas Push, Daniel Audrey Push, David Vicki Push and Denise Dale Hatch; 12 step-grandchildren; and five step-great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Roberta and one nephew, Bo.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends and family may call Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
