Dona Brough Bowcutt Garland: After a full and wonderful life, Dona Brough Bowcutt has returned to her Heavenly home. She passed away January 20, 2003, at the Bear River Valley Care Center. She was born August 11, 1917, in East Tremonton to Raymond Gilbert and Edna Allred Brough. She was a graduate of Bear River High School and Henager Business College in Salt Lake City. On July 13, 1939, she married Clarence Bowcutt in the Lion House. Their marriage was later solemnized in the temple. They built a home on Factory Street in Garland, where they enjoyed 48 years together until Clarence died in 1987. Dona lived her life to the fullest. She was involved in the Ladies Golf Associating where she served as President and board member. She was a member of two bridge clubs and a pinochle club. She bowled on the Monday night league. She loved to camp and fish with her family. She traveled to Hawaii, Hong Kong and New York. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in the Primary and Relief Society. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. Surviving is her son Randy Sherrie Bowcutt of Beaver Dam, five grandchildren, and three great-grandsons. Her husband, Clarence Bowcutt, her sister, Francis Hill, and her brother Clarence Brough preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the Garland 4th Ward Chapel, 175 South Main, Garland. Friends may call on Thursday, January 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Friday, January 24th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. We would like to thank those who so lovingly helped our mother and grandmother at the Bear River Valley Care Center.
