Dixie Sue Stoddard Benson

Dixie Sue Stoddard Benson, our precious mother, daughter, sister and teacher passed away on August 9, 2008 at her home in Logan. Dixie was born on November 1, 1964 to Warner Stoddard and Sandra Kay Dickey. She was raised and educated in the Bear River Valley where she graduated from Bear River High School. Dixie was a tender hearted individual who loved listening to music, drawing, kittens, and Diet Coke. She will be greatly missed by her friends at the Club House, especially her close friend Barry. Dixie loved many things in life but nothing compared to the love she had for her children; Kelly and Sarah. Dixie is survived by her son & daughter; Kelly and Sarah Benson. She is also survived by her parents: Warner Stoddard, Collinston and Sandy Stoddard, Honeyville; her siblings; Ron Jean Stoddard, Honeyville, Debbie John Kuglar, Thatcher, UT, Kristi Stoddard, Tremonton, and Thom Stoddard, Honeyville. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Dee Stoddard. Graveside services are planned for Thursday, August 14, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at the Honeyville Cemetery. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan from 6-8:00 p.m. There will also be a viewing held at the Honeyville Ward Chapel, 7000 North Hwy 31, Honeyville, on Thursday from 11:00-12:30 prior to services at the Cemetery.
