Fielding, UT ? DeVerl LeRoy Anger, 56, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 in his home due to complications from surgery. DeVerl was born May 15, 1951 to Ernie and Dora Anger in Tremonton, UT. He was raised, lived and loved in Fielding, UT his entire life except for one and a half years of his marriage where they lived in Beaver Dam, UT. He received a Bachelor?s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. He was an active member of the Fielding LDS Ward. He was dedicated to each and every calling he held there. He married his high school sweetheart, Denise Earl July 1, 1971 in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised their seven children and enjoyed each other?s company. He was a great father and example to all those around him. He was a gentle, giving husband to his wife. He had a great laugh that made everyone around him smile. He worked at Thiokol for just over 29 years and was given a medical retirement in 2002. He had many great friends at Thiokol. Many of those great friends pitched in and bought him a golf cart that he loved and his grandkids loved to ride with him. He loved being outdoors, camping and anything to do with horses, especially race horses. He started helping his father race his horses when he was young and he continued to race his own horses for many years and then supported and watched his sons race theirs. He is survived by his wife, Denise, and his children: Chelsey Dave Smith, Cody Elisa Anger, Reggie Brittney Anger, Chet Anger, Dallas Anger and Andrea Anger. He left behind nine grandchildren who loved and adored him. Also surviving him are his siblings: Gail Marty Anger, Florene Darold Simmons, Linda Westley, Robert Sue Anger and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sherman and Charlene Earl. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Dora Anger and his son, Tate Anger. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Fielding Stake Center, 4375 West 15600 North, Fielding. A viewing will be held in his honor Monday, July 16, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and before the funeral services on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Fielding Stake Center. Interment at Fielding Cemetery.
