Plymouth- Dena Ann Knudson Lamb was born on May 13, 1918 in Brigham City, Utah to Jesse Arnold Knudson and Ethel Hannah Kelly, slipped away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2005.
She married Verno Keith Lamb on Jan 18, 1939 in the Logan Temple. They've lived in Mississippi, California, and then resided in Plymouth for over 50 years. They had one son, Arnold. She helped her husband in Lamb's Service Station for 40 years. She also worked in the cafeteria at Nucor. For over 40 years she reported the weather for Plymouth. She served in various church positions but mostly she worked with the young women program.
Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and being with her family and friends.
She was the chauffeur for many of "The Old Dolls" in Plymouth. They traveled to the Temple, ball games, out to lunch, and to town. They enjoyed the company of each other.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith, 5 brothers Charles, Kelly, Barry, Owen, and Delbert.
She is survived by her brothers Ron and Curtis, her sisters Barbara Olsen and Nina Ward. One son, Arnold D.D. Lamb, six grandchildren Keith Lynn, Aaron Joyce, Pacer Hollie, Nann White Travis, TaiLynne Christensen and Kendra Merrell, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
There will be a viewing at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Thursday, October 13, from 6-8 PM, and from 9:30- 10:45 prior to the services at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 14, at the Belmont chapel located at 16925 North 5200 West. Interment at the Plymouth Cemetery.
