Delose Udy, 87, of Riverside, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 12, 2005. He was born on May 8, 1918 in Riverside to Thomas J. and Charlotte Archibald Udy. He spent his entire life in Riverside. He married Phyllis Rader on May 8, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. He farmed, was a milk carrier for Morning Milk Company, worked at U & I Sugar and was at Thiokol for 23 years. After retirement, he and Phyllis were camp-hosts at Bear Lake Rendezvous Beach for six years. He is survived by his wife, children: Barbara Don Vanderhoof, Plymouth; Jim Maralene, Garland; Gaylen Danna, Layton; Val Mary, Riverside; Beverly Ron Roybal, Harrisville; Tamara Tom Maier, Clinton; 21 Grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren, a brother, LaVoy, Riverside and a sister, Vaudis Skinner, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bob and Newell; sisters Grace, Ione, Nina, two infant sisters and a Granddaughter, Stacy Williams. The family would like to thank Dr. Markeson for his kind and dedicated care of Daddy. We?d also like to give a heart felt thanks to Larry, Tyler, Michelle and Karen of Alpine Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belmont Second Ward Chapel located at 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2005 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North100 East, Tremonton and also from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery.
