Deana Ransom Lundberg, 96, of Smithfield, Utah died October 16, 2002 at he Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 14, 1906 in Cleveland, Idaho, a daughter of George Rowley Ransom and Hannah Elizabeth Ames Ransom. She married Norman Nephi Lundberg, September 20, 1924 in Preston, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died May 25, 1996. They were married 72 years. Deana was educated in Cleveland and Preston, Idaho. She was an active member of the LDS church, holding various positions. She was an accomplished seamstress. Surviving are three sons: Royce Launa; Doyle and Hal Rayna all of Smithfield, Utah; 10 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 28 great-granchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 7 brothers, 4 sisters and a daugther-in-law, Lorraine.
