David Gail Christensen, beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, returned to his Heavenly Father on November 18, 2004. He was born December 10, 1950 in Price, Utah to Gail Christensen and Virginia Robertson. He attended Cache Valley schools, graduating from Logan High. He lived in various places in Cache Valley, eventually settling in Newton with his wife and best friend, Connie. He married Elyse Earl on July 5, 1968 and they had six wonderful children together. They later divorced and on October 10, 1996, he married Connie Jean Goodsell. Dave spent his younger years racing Motocross. His trade was being a Master meat cutter, but his greatest joy was his children and wife. Dave loved being in the outdoors. Some of his favorite moments were spent fishing and hunting with his children, and he especially loved going camping with Connie. He was known for being a big guy with a ?Teddy-bear heart.? He instilled in his children an incredible work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and above all else, a strong respect for their fellow man. He had a great love for his Savior and served as a High Priest in the Newton 2nd LDS ward. All that knew him, loved him and loved being around him. He is survived by his wife Connie, his six children: Tony Gena Christensen; Matt CJ Christensen, Amy Chas Maddocks, Jed Marie Christensen, Brett Christensen and Katie Christensen; two step children: Jeanine Barry David and Jason Amy Goodsell. Two brothers: Edward Becky Christensen and Mark Christensen. Two sisters: Kathryn Allen Maylin and Christine Hansen. He loved his 10 grandchildren, with a new grandson coming that he is able to meet before joining us. He was preceded in death by his parents.
