Logan ? Dat Tran, 37, a very special husband, father and friend, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2002 due to a tragic automobile accident. Dat was born May 10, 1965 in Vietnam, a son of Tran Tinh Phuong and Ly Ung Mui. He married Mona Dinh on October 19, 1987. Dat was employed at La-Z-Boy, where he worked for twenty years. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He was a hard working and very talented man, and a friend to everyone, always willing to help you in any way he could. When Dat was 14 years old, he came to the United States along with his younger brothers and sisters. Being the oldest, he took responsibility of keeping his family together and help educate them. At that young age, it showed the love, responsibility and dedication of this kind and gentle man. Dat loved being with his wife and family and he loved working on anything electronic and good automobiles. He will be so greatly missed by friends, neighbors, fellow workers and any who had the pleasure of knowing him. To know him was to love him. There is a big hole left in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife and two children. A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan.
