Darrin Tracy Collings

Tremonton ? Darrin Tracy Collings, 15, of Tremonton, died Friday, February 14, 2003, at his home in Tremonton. He was born on July 17, 1987 in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Brenda Bench Ross and Tracy Collings. Darrin was a teacher in the Tremonton 1st Ward, where he served in the teachers Quorum Presidency. He was active in scouting. He loved people and spending time with them especially children and his cousins. He loved to play basketball. Darrin loved to serve others and chose to be an organ donor, to help others. He was the spark of all the family get togethers, and always the life of the party even if there wasn?t a party. He is survived by his parents ? Brenda and Fritz Ross of Tremonton, and Tracy Collings of Garland; one sister ? Heidi Jo Coziar of Tremonton; Grandparents ? George & LaVada Bench of Howell, Lyle & Beverly Petersen of West Valley City, and Shirl & Carol Gager of Holden, Utah; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will greatly miss him. His great grandmother Lila S. Steed preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the Tremonton LDS 1st Ward, 166 North Tremont Street. Friends may call on Monday, February 17 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:30 ? 10:30 a.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
