Darrell Ray ?Duck? Henderson, 60, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2005 in Logan. He was born April 4, 1944 in Logan, Utah to Herman and Peggy Henderson. He was raised in Smithfield and attended the local schools, graduating from North Cache High School. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base in the missile dissection shop and had the opportunity to travel the world in his field of expertise, retiring at the age of 48. He was an active member of the Eagles Lodge, and was president for twelve years. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Darrell is survived by his children: Selina Kay Stalker Russell Kurek, Hyrum; Scott LaVon Henderson, Logan; Debbie Lynne Durham, Little Rock, Arkansas; Fred Julie Sanchez, Clearfield; April Sanchez, Park City; and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Thomas Lynn Donna Henderson, West Valley City; and two sisters, Faye Gary Haworth, Roy; and Gayle Richman, Smithfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Herman LaVon Henderson; and two sons, Keven Ray Henderson and Dean Sanchez. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the Smithfield City Cemetery.
