Dale Lloyd Whalen

Dale Lloyd Red Whalen, Fielding, Utah, 1926 ? 2007 age 81, died peacefully surrounded by family at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Dale was born January 27th 1926 in St. Maries, Benewah County, Idaho to Thomas and Edith Whalen. Dale is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Elaine Whalen, six children, his son Myron of Enumclaw, Washington, Maureen Lee of Tremonton, Utah, Timothy of Salt Lake City, Utah, David of St. George, Utah, Dennis of Okinawa Japan military and Susan Boman of Preston, Washington. Dale had 25 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grand Children. Dale and Marilyn joined the LDS church in 1953 and were sealed in the Logan temple two years later. They have been active members throughout their lives. The Whalen Family would like to thank the caring staff at McKay Dee Hospital, the Fielding Utah, LDS Ward, and friends and family that have been there for Dale. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 29th Noon, at the Fielding Utah Ward house. Viewing will be at 10:30AM prior to the service. Internment at the Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
