D. R. Norr

November 18, 1936 — August 23, 2005

Tremonton - Our beloved husband, father, brother, poppy and friend left us suddenly Tuesday, August 23, 2005. He returned to the open arms of his Father in Heaven.
He was born November 18, 1936 in Brigham City, UT to Charles and Nola Rock Norr. He graduated from Bear River High School and later served in the Army National Guard. He married Coralee Johanson June 30, 1961 in Willard. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple July 28, 1966.
Poppy's greatest love in life was his family and his love of the gospel. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, working in his garden and spoiling his grandchildren. Many individuals in the valley were the beneficiaries of his love, kindness and woodworking skills. He spent countless unselfish hours helping neighbors, family and friends.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was currently serving as High Priest teacher in the Tremonton First Ward. D. R. retired from Thiokol in 1999 after 24 years of service. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Coralee, two children: Bryce Merilee Norr, Hyrum and Michele Bob Hillard, Tremonton; sister, Connie Gary Christensen, Bothwell; his grandkids: Ashlee, Jason and Curry Hillard, Kaycey and Brady Norr, Amilyn Dye, Aleisha Viterna, Camille, Nathan, Daniel and Nicole Boehme and many others he adopted along his journey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
