Cynthia Joyce Probasco Cowley, 50, of Mendon, Utah, died April 5, 2005. Cynthia was born on February 23, 1955 in Ogden, Utah to Ivan and Thea Probasco and raised by her mother and step father, Croft Workman. She graduated from Orem High in 1973. She married her best friend and love of her life, William Mark Cowley, in the Provo Temple on October 4, 1974. The greatest joy in her life was her family. She loved to spend time with them, whether it was camping, boating, playing cards, or just hanging out. She also loved singing, scrapbooking, crafting, and home making. She was involved in many church callings and always put her heart and soul into them. She was active with the youth in her wards and loved them greatly. She is survived by her husband, Mark Cowley; their children: Kristina Chris Ure, Kamas, Utah; Derrik Kisten, Logan, Utah; Braydon 12, Shalyn 9 and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary Gordon Butler, Carolyn Gallinghouse, Robert Angie Workman, John Debbie Workman, Dell Lisha Workman, David Karen Workman, Claudia Lloyd Mayes, Wayne Janis Workman, Howard Jeanette Workman, Blair Lisa Cowley, Dale Annette Cowley, Karen Ed Payne; parents-in-law, William H. and Marilyn Cowley, and many nieces and nephews. She was joined in death by her parents Ivan, Croft and Thea; her brother Kenneth and sister, Linda. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2005 at the Mendon 3rd Ward Chapel, 476 South 100 East. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery, 1550 North 800 East at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
