Cora Giles Becker Nish

Plymouth, UT ? Cora Giles Becker Nish, 96, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Bear River Valley Care Center. She was born July 3, 1911 to Albert and Effie Jane Porter Giles in Morgan, Utah. She married Ed Becker March 1937. He died 1962. She married Orvil J. Nish June 28, 1978 in the Ogden LDS Temple. He died October 15, 1979.
Cora enjoyed traveling and crocheting. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as an Ogden LDS Temple Officiator. Surviving are her step children: DeVearl Margene Nish, Idaho Falls, ID, LaRita Bryce Udy, Tremonton, MarJean Brent Macfarlane, Riverside; son-in-law, Dennis Margaret Udy, Plymouth; 16 step grandchildren and 32 step great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Porter Giles, Ogden, UT and sister, Lois Mitchell, Bend, OR.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Bolton and Thora Kay, three brothers: Reed, Mike and Harvey, two step daughters: Joan Udy and KaraLee Mirhosseini.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007 11:00 a.m. at the Belmont Ward Chapel with Bishop Gary Joe Rudd officiating. Friends and family may call from 9:15 ? 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Plymouth Cemetery.
