Colleen Deakin Christensen

Brigham City: Colleen Deakin Christensen, 60, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on November 28, 2002. She was born in Brigham City, Utah, on December 27, 1941, a daughter of Ray and Iva McNeeley Deakin. She grew up in Tremonton. She married Dallas Whitaker, they later divorced. She spent the last five years of her life near family in Brigham City. She is survived by her three sons, Gary Pam Whitaker, Danny Whitaker and the light of her life Jason Christensen; three grandchildren, Adam, Lynnsie and Garrett; one sister, Deanna Gary Grunig. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 2, 2002, 12:00 noon at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
