Clista was born in Jamestown, North Dakota to Colleen Anne (Miller) Robbins and Kenneth Charles Bartle.
Clista unexpectedly passed away in her home in Logan, Utah on March 9, 2025. Clista spent the last 3 years happier than she has been in a very long time with her sweetheart Chad Hillyard.
Clista is the oldest of 5, second oldest of 6, and middle child of 12 with the help of being blended families. Clista took on her role as big sister, motherly figure when mom was working and away from home and her siblings looked up to her. She loved being auntie Clista to all her nieces and nephews. She had always wanted to have children of her own, but did not have the chance until one of her nephews came to live with her and Chad.
Clista served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Minneapolis Minnesota Mission. She worked as a hairdresser, caregiver, foods service worker, and in grocery stores. She really enjoyed the people she worked with at Smith’s and stayed with them longer than any other place.
Clista’s End of Life Celebration will be on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11am. The service will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1255 North 600 East, Logan, Utah 84341.
