Claudia Margaret May Hathaway Chester, Idaho/ Tremonton ? Claudia Margaret May Hathaway, 93, died Monday August 19, 2002 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton. Claudia was born on August 29, 1908 in Preston, Idaho the daughter of Theodore J. May and Christina Olsen May. She married Delbert Earl Hathaway on March 13, 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died on January 8, 1978. She was reared and educated in St. Anthony, Idaho. She attended the BYC Academy in Logan, UT receiving her teaching degree. She made her home with Delbert in Chester, Idaho until 1994 when she moved to Tremonton, Utah to the Care Center. Claudia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. She especially loved leading the music. She loved crocheting, quilting, her children and grandchildren. She made quilts for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 6 children ? LaMar Delbert Lou Hathaway, of Layton, UT, Theodore B. Gloria Hathaway of Tremonton, UT, Lewis LeRoy Linda Hathaway of Ogden, UT, Ralph Owen Jan Hathaway of Sacramento, CA, Cora May Delmo Smith of Sugar City, ID, and Arlo Richard Vickie Hathaway of Murray, UT; 32 grandchildren, over 60 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son ? Murlan. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August22, 2002 at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony, ID. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 ? 11:45 a.m. at the Bidwell Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Wilford Idaho Cemetery.
