Claude Hampson

December 13, 1922 — June 29, 2007

Elwood, UT ? Claude Hampson, born December 13, 1922 in Pasadena, California to Howard and Nellie Hampson, passed from this life June 29, 2007. Claude lived a full and productive life. He was one of the finest, most respected metal workers in Southern California. He was a master machinist. He built Formula One racing cars, hot rods and customs. There wasn?t anything that interested him that he couldn?t master, including jewelry making and hand forging.
Claude served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in Italy and Africa.
He will be missed by many family members and friends.
Claude is survived by his wife Lois and children: Jim Otterstrom Peggy, Big Bear City, Ca; Kerry Otterstrom, Needles, Ca; Linda Otterstrom, Medford, Or; John Otterstrom, Medford, Or; and Lori Leckinger Aaron, Woodland Hills, Ca. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the home of Lois Hampson ? 9445 North 4400 West, Elwood, Ut. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm.
