Clarice Johnson Hirschi

Riverside, UT – Clarice Johnson Hirschi, 82, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 at her home. She was born September 8, 1925 in Riverside, UT to Lawrence Monroe and Inez Florence Udy Johnson. She married Grant Lyle Hirschi July 27, 1945 in Brigham City. Their marriage was later solemnized September 26, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Grant died February 21, 2001. She spent her entire life in Riverside and attended Riverside and Garland Elementary Schools and Bear River High School. She and Grant owned and operated the Riverside Store.
Clarice loved to embroider and give away dishtowels. She took pride in knowing everyone's birthday.
She was a member of the Belmont 2nd LDS Ward and served in all auxiliaries.
Surviving are her sons: Larry G. Sharon, Jerry W. Camille and Clair L., three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister, Karen Norris Buttars.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Elvis L. Johnson, one sister, Maxine J. Coombs and one grandson, Loren L. Hirschi.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Belmont Ward Chapel, 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside. Friends and family may call 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Thursday from 12:30-1:40 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery.
