Clarence Bernard Kirkham Tremonton: Clarence Bernard Kirkham, 86, died October 14, 2002, at the Bear River Care Center in Tremonton. He was born March 2, 1916, in Cedar Hills, Idaho, the son of Merritt L. and Harriet Stokes Kirkham. He married Margaret May Hansen on September 19, 1936, in Ogden. She died December 14, 1997. He attended school in Cedar Hills, ID, Promontory and Kelton, UT. He lived in Lakeside, Promontory, Kelton, Carlin, Elko, NV. He moved to Tremonton in 1989. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 41 years. He was an avid historian for the Golden Spike National Monument. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his daughter Rose Marie Roger Oyler, Garland, grandchildren, Jeff Sharri Oyler, Tremonton; Bart Oyler, Tremonton; Kirk Stefanie Oyler, Garland, Shane Lori Oyler, Garland; David Delyne Kirkham, Elko, NV; 17 great grandchildren; half sister, Carol Ann Stockdale, Fullerton, CA. His wife and son, Ronald Dean Kirkham, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview/Tremonton 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 166 North Tremont. Friends may call Friday, October 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 19th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
