Clara Ann Waite Robison, 90, a devoted wife and mother, passed away on June 4, 2024. Her life was marked by unwavering faith, resilience, and dedication to her family. She was born on December 7, 1933, in Winchendon, Massachusetts, to Sidney Aaron Waite and Mary Elizabeth Barratt. She was baptized in 1949 to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clara attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she met her future husband Acea.
Clara married Acea Homer Robison in the Manti Temple on March 20, 1953, and together they raised eleven children. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and supported them in their activities. Her legacy lives on through her loving family, who remember her as a nurturing and devoted wife and mother.
Clara was passionate about genealogy work and tirelessly researched family histories, connecting generations and ensuring that family bonds extended beyond the veil. She yearned to serve in the church and serve others. She and Acea served a proselyting mission in Indianapolis, Indiana and a service mission in the Cinnamon Creek Campground. She loved nature, camping and viewing wildlife and liked to go on road trips to experience Yellowstone, Glacier, and Logan Canyon.
Clara is survived by her husband Acea, brother Sidney (Mearritta), children Arlene (Charles), Ray (Kathy), Leila, Carolyn, Lloyd (Sandy), Darrell (Lynn), Alan (Kimberli), Grant (Michelle), Gary (Nancy), Paul (July) and Kyle (Crystal), 54 grandchildren, and 74 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her sister Ellen (Rex), Son-in-law Pete (Carolyn), and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire generations to come.
A viewing will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home of Logan, 162 E 400 N, Logan, Utah, and Saturday, June 8, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 125 W 600 N, Logan, Utah. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Hyde Park Cemetery.
