Tremonton, UT ? Clara Naomi Neal Garbanati, 84, passed away December 23, 2007 at Bear River Care Center. She was born March 7, 1923 in Tremonton, UT one of twelve children, to John Fredrick and Clara Elizabeth Petersen Neal. She married George Melbourne Garbanati October 13, 1936. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. George died September 25, 1980.
Clara loved to cook, sew, crochet, watch her grandkids participate in sports, gardening and was an avid Jazz Fan. She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in Primary, Young Women?s, Visiting Teacher, Stake Missionary, Relief Society President, and Stake Relief Society Presidency.
She is survived by her children: Sherry Neil Schoenenberger, Elona A. L. Hansen, Bernell Debbie Garbanati, Geneal Garry White, Craig Lola Garbanati; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers: Hollis Karen Neal and Ferrell Carolyn Neal.
She is preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, five sisters, one son and daughter-in-law, Todd Nelda Garbanati.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Ward LDS Chapel, 10750 North Highway 38, Deweyville, UT with Bishop Michael Yates officiating. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT and from 9:30-10:40 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment at Snowville Cemetery.
