Christy Lynn Jamison Barkle

Providence?Christy Lynn Jamison Barkle, 43, of Providence passed away peacefully on August 28, 2007, with her beloved son, Carl, by her side. She was born on Mother?s Day, May 10, 1964, in Salt Lake City to Darmon Lee and Carolynn Christiansen Jamison. She married Clancy Barkle and from this union came her most cherished gift, Carl. They were later divorced. Christy was loved by many. Although plagued by poor health, she always seemed to be thinking of others. She loved her family and was excited to have her dad back in her life. Her son, Carl, was the light of her life and she delighted in his successes and suffered when he experienced health problems. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her son, Carl David Christian Hunter Barkle of Providence; her father, Darmon Lee Darlene Jamison of Garland; her brothers, David Debbie Jamison of Nibley and Steven Jamison of Garland. She is also survived by a loving and supportive extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carloynn Christiansen Jamison, her mother and father-in-law Keith and Adola Barkle, and her grandparents. Cremation rites were performed by Nelson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2007 at the LDS Church located at 420 West 100 North Providence Lane, in Providence.
