Christopher Kalevi Kanervisto

Tremonton, Christopher Kalevi Kanervisto, 19, passed unexpectedly November 20, 2009. He was born to Timo and Sandra Kanervisto on February 11, 1990 in Logan, UT.
Christopher was raised and educated in the Bear River Valley. He graduated from Bear River High School in 2008. He attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City, and was attending Utah State University in Logan. Christopher enjoyed music, skiing, golf, politics, the environment, art, wood working, mountain biking, religion and studying his Finnish heritage. He was fluent in Finnish. Christopher touched many lives and was blessed with a wonderful personality and always found the good in everyone he met.
He is survived by his parents, of Tremonton, Grandparents, Kalevi and Hilma Kanervisto, Tremonton, and Doris Jensen, Logan. He is also survived by Aunts and Uncles, Barth and Anne Aunt Duck Olson, Seattle, WA, Steven and Eileen Jensen, Logan, UT, Laurel and Gayle Jensen, Lewiston, UT, and by many cousins in the US and Finland. Also surviving are his special pets: Enzo, Pepper and Bear. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Reed L. Jensen and one cousin, Amanda Jensen.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 at 12:00 noon, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church located at 750 East 100 South in Brigham City, with Pastor Michael Galica. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 29, 2009, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Monday, November 30, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:15 am at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, located at 111 North 100 East in Tremonton. Interment will be at Deweyville Cemetery. Donations can be made to Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Christopher Kanervisto; the contributions will be made to Christopher's favorite charities.
