Christina May Hebdon White

Christina May Hebdon White, 59, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away suddenly in her home on August 4, 2007.
She was born in Soda Springs, Idaho on October 29, 1947. The first born child of Rex E. Hebdon and Margaret D. Moore Hebdon followed by Ruth, Janet, Bill, and Roy. She grew up in Bancroft, ID. and graduated from North Gem High. She attended Ricks College where she met her ?honey dew? Barry David White. They were married February 19, 1971 in the Logan LDS Temple.
They settled in Smithfield, Utah to raise their family. She enjoyed the outdoors, horses, crafts, and most of all she loved spending time with her family and helping those in need. As a mother, she returned to school and received her RN from Weber State University. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and spent over 30 years working with youth through scouting and young adult programs. She is survived by her husband, Barry, their five children; Margaret Randy Shumway, Daniel Cindy, Aaron Jaime, Rex Jamie, and Joshua Patty; as well as her crowning accomplishment, 15 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Rex, and her sister, Janet, as well as many extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Smithfield 8th Ward Chapel, 155 West 400 North, Smithfield. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield and Thursday morning at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
