Charles Joseph Franks

Charles Joseph Franks was born to Martha Taylor Franks and the Late Daniel Joseph Franks October, 17 1983 in Tremonton, Utah. His life was full of amazing adventures, a slew of friends, and a family who thought the world of him. Chuck enjoyed sports, his favorite was hockey. He played for the Bear River Independent hockey team during high school and a club team with his father during the off season. He also enjoyed football and baseball. After Chuck graduated High School in 2002 he began his life as a Fire Fighter, Farmer, and Hunting Guide. He spent his summers on the farm with his father until he passed away in 2003 and after with his loving mother. He was also one of the bravest, most intelligent fire fighters. He saved many men, and many trusted him with their life. He loved the outdoors and his true passion was hunting and fishing. He loved the thrill of hunting, and was always willing to share in that joy with others. He had grown his hunting outfit to well trained hounds, GPS systems, a variety of firearms, as well as a variety of transportation methods. Chuck's friends and family were the luckiest because he was able to touch their lives in ways they will never forget. Through his immense knowledge and kind heart he was able to teach his friends and family about things they never thought or would ever experience. Chuck always tried to be the best person he could be, in turn brought out the best in everyone who knew him. He is survived by his Mother, Martha; Sister, Danielle; grandparents, Don and Virginia Franks New York; grandparents, Charles and Susan Taylor Tremonton; Uncles; Aunts; Cousins; Memorial Service will be held at the Curlew Ward in Snowville, Utah Saturday June 14, 2008. Condolences may be expressed to the family during a visitation starting at 12:00 p.m., the service will begin promptly at 1 p.m.
