Charlene Lamb Cornwall

Tremonton, UT ? Charlene Lamb Cornwall, 73, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 22, 2007. She was born February 8, 1934 to Jesse Don and Bertha Archibald Lamb of Plymouth, Utah. She married her sweetheart Stuart A. Cornwall, on November 12, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. She loved to cook for anyone who came to her home. She always enjoyed a good ballgame. Charlene served in many callings in the LDS church. She especially loved her calling as Sports Director for the Tremonton South Stake. She served many people while on her missions to Atlanta, Georgia and Brisbane, Australia. She also served as an officiator in the Logan LDS Temple for three and half years.
Charlene loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her eternal companion and her children, Dustin Denise Cornwall, Columbia, TN; Kayln Vern Ryan, West Bountiful, UT; Kim Max Kirkman, Clinton, UT; Penny Cornwall Finch, Payson, UT; Travis Susie Cornwall, Prescott Valley, AZ; Kerrie Mark Allen, Santa Fe, NM; and Kisha Ricky Collom, Tremonton, UT. She had 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are three borthers: Vernon Nadine-deceased, Lamont Darlene and J. Don Vickie; and three sisters: Joan Smith, Regina McKay Allred and Donna Dan Forgreen.
She is preceded in death by her son, Shane D. Cornwall; her parents, Jesse Don and Bertha Archibald Lamb; and her sister, Joyce John.
As a family, we would like to say thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and kindness shown to our wife and mother.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at 3rd/8th Ward LDS Chapel, 9590 North 6800 West, Tremonton with Bishop Norman Fukui officiating. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment at Elwood Cemetery.
