She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was loved and cherished by all. She had many interests, among them cooking, crocheting, reading and genealogy. But her passion was gardening?there were always beautiful roses and flowers blooming in her yard. She enjoyed playing games especially Forkel with her grandchildren and loved ones. She had a terrific sense of humor and a great attitude toward life. Her door was always open to everyone and they all knew that inside her home they would be greeted with a welcome hug, a smile and plenty of good food. Our mother?s and grandmother?s love will always remain in the hearts of her family. Her world truly revolved around all of us. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to all her caring neighbors and friends, to Dr. Gordon Wood and his staff, Dr. Michael Stone for his many years of care, Alpine Hospice Care and her many caregivers and friends at the Sunshine Terrace Nursing Home.
