Deweyville - Carey K. Hashimoto, 54 of Deweyville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at his residence in Deweyville. He was born on March 17, 1951 in Tremonton, Utah the son of I. Sam and Setsuko Ruthie Yamaguchi Hashimoto, the youngest son of four children. Carey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and coach. He was always dedicated to improving the athletic ability in many athletes especially in girls fast pitch softball. He was a member of the ASA, a coach at Bear River High School, and a coach at Weber State University, where he helped lead the team in two national college titles. Carey worked for ATK Thiokol for 29 years, He is survived by his wife Maureen, whom he loved and cherished; his son Ty Hashimoto; loving daughter Mikiyo Ross Kidman; granddaughters Aree Kidman and Jade Burgess; two step daughters, Alison Gary King, and Teresa Ryan; his elder brother Leon Sandra Hashimoto; twin brother Calvin Carolyn Hashimoto; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Patricia Hashimoto. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Deweyville LDS Church, located at 10750 North Hwy 38. Friends may call on Friday, December 30, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 at the Church. Interment will be in the Deweyville Cemetery In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made to the CNS Hospice, 221 Spring Creek, Parkway Suite #G, Providence, UT 84332
