C. Max Hailstone

C. Max Hailstone, 82, passed away September 19, 2003 in Logan, Utah. He was born January 15, 1921 in Hyrum, Utah, the son of Calvin and Ruby Hailstone.
Max owned and operated Hailstone Meats for 35 years before retiring. He belonged to the Logan Golf and Country Club and was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by Donna Richardson Hailstone, sister, Helen Brown; children; Steve Teresa Hailstone, Twin Falls, ID; Judy Dan Jensen, Boulder, NV; Janet Clyde Ware deceased, Arcadia, FL; Peggy Bart Hirst, Jerome, ID; Betty Denis Jeffs, Ogden, UT; Barbara Kelly Hess, Garland, UT; Robert Carolee Hailstone, Clearfield, UT; Ruth Crosby, Hyrum, Ut. Also surviving, Jolene Beckner, Front Royal, VA; Connie Wendell Peterson, Smithfield, UT; Tom Jenny Richardson, N. Ogden, UT; Bob Pat Richardson, Smithfield, Utah; 31 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Stephen Hailstone and daughter, Janet.
Graveside services and dedication of the grave will be held at the Hyrum Cemetery on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 12 noon for family and friends.
