Brent Lavon Darley Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: Brent Lavon Darley, 34, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2001, at the Oklahoma University Hospital of systemic Lymphoma and kidney failure. He was born March 10, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Lynn A. and Marcia Darley. Childhood years were spent in Murray and Taylorsville, Utah. Brent and family moved to Tremonton in August of 1976. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and participated in the many activities and functions of the Church. Brent was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley Schools. In his teens he worked for local restaurants in the valley. He enjoyed and became very talented in food preparation and cooking. He moved to North Hollywood, California, where he was employed at Syncor in 1985. In 1989 he moved to Oklahoma where he was employed as a chef in the food services, which was his first love and desire. His talents will be missed by all. Surviving are his parents, Lynn and Marcia Darley of Deweyville, Utah. Also surviving are four brothers and three sisters, Kevin Darley Jennifer, Yakima, Washington; Thane Leslie Darley, Gaeta, Italy; Glenn Valerie Darley, Logan, Utah; Kenneth Dawn Darley, Ogden, Utah; Kara Lee Travis Holm, Rochester, Minnesota; Debra Ryan Snow, Taylorsville, Utah; Amber Darley, Logan, Utah. Preceded in death are his grandparents; Lavon and Eva Darley and Fulton and Evelyn Banta. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2002, 11:00 a.m. in the Deweyville Ward Chapel, 10750 North Highway 38. Family and friends may call Thurs. Jan. 3rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Fri. Dec. 4th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Deweyville Ward. Interment will be in the Deweyville cemetery.
