TREMONTON, UT - Bobby Bob Gene Martin, 74, passed away at his home with family and friends by his side, Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
He was born May 28, 1934, in Bixby, Oklahoma, to Cecil Earl Martin and Margie Gladys Bigby. He married, KayeDean Nielson, October 12, 1963, in Tremonton, Utah. They enjoyed 45 years working and raising their family together.
He was reared and educated in Arizona and Utah. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In his younger years he worked as Produce Manager for Safeway and Albertsons, later was a security policeman and a mechanic for Hill Air Force Base retiring after 30 years of service. He tried his hand for a while at farming.
He attended Victory First Assembly of God Church in Brigham City, Utah.
He loved camping, hunting and fishing with his family. Tony's Grove was the favorite when the kids were young. His most memorable fishing trip was fishing for the "big ones" in Alaska with his 4 sons. He enjoyed salmon fishing with his brothers in Washington. He loved his family and grandchildren very much . They enjoyed many good times camping in the Uintas, watching the moose, boating at Flaming Gorge and Strawberry, and cruising with his wife to Alaska and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed fixing cars in his shop. He is survived by his wife, KayeDean; his children: Sherrie Andy Jellum, Brent, Curt Michelle Bird, Chad, and Chris Martin; his grandchildren: Kaelee, Ryan, Nathan Jellum, Tysen, Bransen, Ashlund and Wyatt Martin.
Also surviving are his sister, Charlene Don Christian, and brothers: Leon, Earl, and Eual Martin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Ann, his parents, and brother, Eldon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Tremonton 3rd/8th Ward LDS Chapel, 9590 North 6800 West, Tremonton with Bishop Jay Zundell officiating. Family and friends may call Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Monday from 9:30-10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment at Tremonton Riverview Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
