Billy David Nelson

Garland, Utah ? Billy David Nelson, 53, passed away at the Bear River Valley Hospital of a heart attack Monday, April 9, 2007. He was born January 22, 1954 in Libby, Montana to Billy and Alice Geneva Remington Nelson. He moved to Tremonton at six years of age living most of his life in Tremonton and Garland. He is a graduate of Bear River High School and Salt Lake City Community College receiving a degree in Auto Mechanics. He was the owner/operator of American Security and Telephone.
He enjoyed skiing, traveling, science fiction movies and video games. He loved to study the law and U. S. Constitution. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Garland 4th Ward.
Surviving are his sisters: Jean Donald Curtis, West Bountiful, UT and Maurine R. Stephen Jensen, Garland, UT; brothers: Gordon Nelson, Alamogordo, NM and Phillip Bowman, Superior, MT; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT. Friends and family may call from 9:30 ? 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Garland Cemetery.
