Plymouth ? Beverly Peterson Hess, 77, returned to her loving Father in Heaven Saturday, May 20, 2006. She was born January 13, 1929 in East Garland, Utah, the daughter of Fred and Bernice Peterson. She married Mitchell J. Hess on January 23, 1951, in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was as member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various church auxiliaries. She enjoyed doing temple work, cooking, listening to country music, playing the piano, reading, art and crocheting afghans which she gave to family and friends across the United States. She loved being a part of their business known as Grandma and Grandpa Trucking which took them from coast-to-coast. She loved spending time with her family and playing with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mitchell J. Hess, her children: Micheal F. Hess, Randy J. Monica Hess, Janet H. Gregory D. Williams, Jeffery M. Sharon Hess, Julie Jeff Godfrey, Beverly Hess and Ira Walks, 26 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren. Brother and sisters: Darrel D. Joyce Hansen, Pauline Heaton, Jerry F. Peterson, Larry Linda Peterson, Rodney Peterson, Janice Robert Schramm, and Tamara Gary Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Robert B. Hansen, one granddaughter-in-law, Tamara Maurie Hess and one great grandson, Jeremy Neil Withers.
A Funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Belmont First Ward Chapel, 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside with Bishop Joe Rudd conducting. Family and friends may call from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and also on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment at the Plymouth Cemetery.
