Beverley Kirk

Beverley "Bette" LaMarr Smith Kirk, 83, passed away at her home in Weston, ID, November 29, 2010. She was born on January 20, 1927 in Berkeley, CA to Maurice DeLos Smith and Lottie Iola Kimball. Bette loved genealogy and loved to discover who was related to her. She loved attending church and the temple, cooking, knitting, crocheting, gardening and being with her family. She figure skated, was a swimming and first aid instructor, life guard and photographer. She is survived by her brother, Sherman Smith Kay, Sierra Vista, AZ and six children Shirlee Mays, Quebec, Can., Suzy Willie Brad Providence, UT, Stephanie Wyatt Darrell North Bonneville, WA, Scott Kirk Kayla Dayton, WA, Stephen Kirk Jill Weston, ID, Sherman Kirk Bridgette Alvaton, KY, 22 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at 11 am at the LDS Church, 27 North Center, Weston, ID. Viewing prior 9:30-10:30 am and Sunday, December 5, from 4-6 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 S. Main in Smithfield, Utah. Burial will be in the Smithfield cemetery.
