Beverley Sue Bindrup Hansen

Beverley Sue Bindrup Hansen, daughter of Leland S. Bindrup and Lela Nye and loving spouse of Wynn Scott Hansen passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 after struggling with cancer. Her life was dedicated to her family and her Savior. Bev was born in Logan and attended Logan High School and Utah State Agricultural College in Logan during the 1950?s where she was a sponsor and also a Chi Omega. Bev and Scott met and dated at college and married in the Logan Temple September 14, 1954. They raised six children while traveling the world. Their first stop was Tucson, Arizona and their last was Fruit Heights, Utah before they retired in Fielding, Utah. Somewhere in the middle they lived in Bitburg, Germany, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Alabama and Oklahoma. From this, the family made numerous lifelong friends in many places. Anybody that knew Bev understood her passions. They were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, ballet, sewing, pets, and the color pink. Much of her time was spent in sewing for her family, and charitable sewing for Ballet West, the Conservatory, and Humanitarian Aid. She loved to take ballet classes with the Ballet West Company. She is survived by her spouse of 53 years; her children: Vicki Earl Smith, Michelle Michael Woods, Jacquelyn ?Jaci? Robb Newman, Debra Hansen, Steven Hansen and Heather Martin, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. "We miss you already mom though you have just barely left us to return home. We'll miss the intoxicating smell and yummy taste of your homemade rolls which was always a labor of patience and love. We miss you." The family suggests, sending a small donation in her behalf to Primary Children's Hospital, Humanitarian Aid via the LDS church, or Ballet West. A funeral will be held Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Fielding LDS Church, 4375 West 15600 North, Fielding. Friends and family may call Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Roger's and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Friday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. Interment at Fielding Cemetery.
