Betty Tidwell

Providence- Betty Charline Wilcox Tidwell passed away Feb. 18, 2015 in Logan, UT. She was born July 17, 1929 to Edna Carrie Pursel and Charles Dewey Wilcox.
Betty was married and sealed to John Vernon Tidwell on Aug. 1, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1986. Betty lived in Kansas, California, Idaho and Utah. She enjoyed the many friendships from working at Tidwell's A&T Root beer, Steffen's Drug, Wurlitzers and Bourns. She served in many positions within her church.
Betty's children are : Gary (Barbara), Craig (deceased) Debbie Tidwell-Phippen, Yvonne (Kent) Williams, Steven (deceased), Anet, Lee and Debbie and daughter-in-law, Kathy Olsen. She's survived by 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 12 noon in the Providence 4th Ward Chapel, 155 North 100 East, Providence. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North and Monday at the church from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
