Bertrum Kent Skinner Bothwell/Tremonton: Bertrum Kent Skinner passed away Friday, April 11, 2003, from complications due to MS. Dad was born July 12, 1944, in Tremonton, UT to Sidney and Belva Lott Skinner. Dad was reared and educated in Tremonton. He attended McKinley Elementary and Bear River High School. Dad and Mom were married June 19, 1964, in Garland, UT. Dad worked for Golden Spike Equipment Co. as a tractor mechanic for 22 years. He was also a reserve Police Officer for Tremonton. Dad is survived by his wife, Sheila Housley Skinner and children; Penny Skinner Kirk Stark, Brian Mandy Skinner, Tricia Eldon Thompson, Brandon Laura Skinner, and Justin Nicole Skinner; grandchildren; Jordan Skinner, Micheal and Kimberly Skinner, Randy and Summer Ethridge step, Kyli, Cody, Amanda step Thompson, Madison Skinner, and Taia Skinner. Also surviving; Clarence Dick Wakefield, LuAnna Payne, Kay Jennifer Skinner, in-laws; Ray and Marie Housley, Shira Harry McMurdie, Marilyn Lynn Hulsey and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, Sidney and Belva Lott Skinner and a nephew. At this time my brothers and sister would like to give a special ?Thank You? to our Mom for all the years of tender care she has given Dad, since the MS had really taken its toll. She has no idea how much we have really appreciated her. She gave of herself so unselfishly. Mom we Love You.
Thanks to Tonya and Jamien at Heritage Brookside Homecare, his nurse Amy, and to the Doctors and nurses at the Bear River Valley Hospital for the special care that they gave Dad. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 14, 2003, 11:30 a.m. at the Bothwell Valley Cemetery.
