Bernice Johnson Hansen

West Jordan / Elwood - Bernice Johnson Hansen, 88, of Deweyville, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2005, at her granddaughter's home in Bluffdale, UT. She was born December 15, 1916 in Deweyville, the daughter of Oliver H. and Sarah Geneva Marsh Johnson. She married Harold L. Hansen on April 18, 1936 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized May 17, 1939, in the Logan LDS Temple. Harold died June 28, 2003. Bernice attended Deweyville Elementary and graduated from Bear River High School. She was active in all auxiliaries of the church. She is survived by her children - Douglas Jean Hansen, Heber, UT; DeAnna Jim Colbert, West Jordan, UT; Maxine John Cicala, Show Low, AZ; Oleen Vicki Hansen, Aloha, OR; Jay Lori Hansen, TX; Lonnie Sandi Hansen, Logan, UT; one brother - Newell H. Doris Johnson, Cedar City, UT; 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Her husband, two sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends may call prior to viewing from 10:00 - 11:45 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Deweyville Cemetery.
