Tremonton, UT?Belinda Gay Howard, 44, passed away peacefully at her Tremonton home on Friday, July 12, 2002. She was born July 22, 1957, in Gardena, CA, to Donovan Earl and Verna Turnbow Howard. Belinda grew up in Southern California and loved it there. She graduated from Anaheim High School and LDS seminary where she participated in the choir. She moved to Utah at the age of 19 and she has resided here ever since. She was a member of the LDS Church and had served as a Primary Teacher. Music was an important part of Belinda?s life?she had a beautiful singing voice and loved to play the guitar. She developed a great love for the Savior and this love was felt as she sang for her family and friends who loved her very much. She loved animals and children. Some of her happiest moments were when she was with her cousins and nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as ?Aunt Minnie.? She was a wonderful aunt, sister, daughter, and friend. She is survived by her mother, Verna, Brigham City formerly of Tremonton; siblings, Robin Guy Salazar, China, Tami Keith Stockwell, Roy, and Donovan Sonja Howard, Jr., Bear River City; a special life-long friend Shawna David Eggli, Tremonton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her. Her father, Donovan E. Howard, Sr., and her grandparents Alden and LaVee Turnbow preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at the Tremonton 5th Ward Chapel, 300 South Tremont St. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday prior to services at the church.
