Barbara Jean Zogg Nish

Barbara Jean Zogg Nish, 80, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton, UT. She was born November 3, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska to Mathias & Anna Agerson Zogg. Barbara Jean grew up in Neola, Iowa but has since lived in California, Arkansas, Kansas and Arizona. She has resided in Tremonton, UT since the early 1990's. She worked at Thiokol as a Nozzel Fabricator for many years and prior to that she worked as a waitress for many years. Barbara Jean met and married Harry Viehland and was later divorced. She married then Wilford C. Nish and he preceded her in death. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1997 and enjoyed serving in various capacities. She was a member of the Tremonton First Ward. Barbara Jean enjoyed collecting dolls and loved animals. She showed her own Malamute dogs for many years. She is survived by a brother, Eugene E. Zogg; sister, Eileen Nicholas and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilford, and a sister, Doreen O'Toole. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, UT.
