Barbara Ann Fullmer Christensen passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 91. She was born August 28, 1932, to Jennie Giles Nelson and Almon Liness Fullmer in Preston Idaho. Her family eventually moved to Logan Utah where she lived the rest of her life.
She married the love of her life, Boyd B. Christensen in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 19, 1950. They were sweethearts and each other’s best friend. They spent 62 years together raising a family of five children: Ernie, Kim, Wendy, Jay and Julie.
Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She had many opportunities to serve in several of the organizations. One of her favorites was working with humanitarian aid. She was very gifted with her hands and able to create anything she could dream up. Handmade toys and dolls were her specialty from Raggedy Ann’s to porcelain dolls and everything in between. She always managed to find families in need, especially at Christmas Time. It gave her great joy to share with children her creations. Genealogy was another love of hers. Countless hours have been spent bringing loved ones together. Many people are not forgotten because of the beautiful family history books she compiled.
Being the youngest of the family, she was preceded in death by all her siblings: Anita Robinson, Jennie Shultz, Almon Liness Fullmer Jr, Jack Fullmer and her dear husband Boyd. She is survived by her children; Ernie (Inken) Christensen, Kim (Chris Ruple) Christensen, Wendy (Roger) Gessel, Jay (Karen) Christensen and Julie (Randy) Fullmer. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
