Barbara Ferrin Bindrup passed away Saturday January 23, 2016 in her Logan home unexpectedly, just 4 days after her 79th birthday. She was born in Ogden, UT and adopted by Virgil and Claudine Ferrin. She married Verl K. Bindrup in 1956 in the Logan LDS temple. She had 6 children and later divorced. Barbara loved to play music on the organ and piano. She graduated from USU with her bachelors in music and cum laude while practicing under Dr. James Drake. She was very close to her family and joined them whenever they traveled. She loved the constitution and her country, she was a true patriot. Barbara is survived by her 6 children; Brad Bindrup, Tammy Rawlins, Holly Buck, Troy Bindrup, Kristy Smith, Lisa Baker, her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She would have wanted to help her grandson, Andy Rawlins, in his fight against cancer. Barbara was very worried about Andy and always did everything she could to help Andy and his family during this hard time. In lieu of flowers, we believe that she would have wanted to assist Andy through his go fund me page:
