Archie Wesley Sawyer, 95, of Logan, Utah passed away at Legacy House on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013. He was born on Feb. 22, 1918 to Weston Levi Sawyer & Eva Alexandra Roy in Canada. Archie served in the Army during WWII in Italy. He married Coravine Ottley on June 23, 1951. Arch & Cory lived in SLC for 2 years before moving to Logan in 1956. Archie was a field engineer for Burroughs Corp. in the computer industry. He was a handyman and could fix anything. He loved the ocean and especially going to San Diego in the motor home with his loving wife, Cory, where they formed many happy memories.
He enjoyed gardening and trips to Tony Gove in Logan Canyon. His eyes always lit up when he was with his great grand babies.
He is survived by his son, Wes Sawyer; his daughters, Rebecca Roland Oliver & Rosemary Gary Johnson; his brother, Tom Deloris Sawyer; 13 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 N., in Logan on Saturday Dec. 21, 2013 at 12 noon. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 at the same location. Interment will directly follow at the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at
