Anna Lee McClendon, 96, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Williamsburg Assisted Living Residence. She was born February 27, 1910 in Darbun, Mississippi to William & Amazon Evans Ballard. She was raised in Mississippi and moved to Texas after her marriage to Charles Henry Breeden. Together they raised two children: Charles Lee and Velma. Anna has lived in Arizona, Colorado and Utah. After the death of Charles, she later married Amos Thearon McClendon. Anna was a life-long devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the years she has served as Relief Society President, in the Sunday School and Primary. She loved quilting, sewing, cross-stitch and needlework. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and will be greatly missed by all those who love her so very much. Anna is survived by a son, Charles Lee Breeden, Provo; a daughter, Velma Pearl James Bosick, Logan; 8 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 5 brothers; and 4 sisters. Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Logan City Cemetery.
